It was fantastic to join the Liverpool Hope University Learning and Teaching event today. We shared assessment concerns as captured here, and shared some ways forward through these challenges.
We covered a lot of ground but mainly with a focus on how we might use exemplars and rubrics to support assessment through dialogue and transparency. We also took a look at authentic assessment opportunities as a means to motivate and engage students.

Liverpool Hope Keynote – May 2019
In case you want the links too – Mentimeter was the interactive engagement tool and Screencast-o-Matic was the screen recorder for feedback and all sorts of other uses.
Many of the examples today were drawn from the Harper Adams community, so many thanks to all of my colleagues for allowing me to draw upon their work!
